Playing a game is also a great means to practice your ability. The
developer of this app was upgraded with a lot of extra features added. Previously, Android owners who wanted to
utilize Kodi for Android would need to utilize a process referred to as sideloading'', but this is no longer
crucial.
You need to know how to build Kodi before using it. It has
never been
easier to install Kodi on your Android smart phone or tablet. The app can now be downloaded on the Google
Play
Store.
To watch a video using Kodi, you can also use Chromecast. To make it work, there are two methods
available:
Method 1:
- You will need to install a few apps your Android device— Kodi, LocalCast, and any file manager like
the ES
File Explorer. Then you'll need to download the .xml file called playercorefactory.
- Go to Settings – View Settings with ES File Explorer and allow hidden files to be displayed. Then go
to
the folder Downloads and copy the playercore file. Go to Android – Data – org.xbmc.kodi – files – .kodi
–
userdata folder and paste the file.
- Open the Kodi app now, then play some video. Select LocalCast as the app you want to use, select
Chromecast, and you can now play the Kodi video on the TV that is plugged into the Chromecast.
Method 2:
- A much simpler way is to use the Google Home app's screen mirror feature (formerly the Google Cast
app).
Tap on the Cast Screen / Audio to open the Hamburg menu. Pick your Chromecast device and you can now
have the
device interface mirrored on your TV.
- Open the Kodi app and play any video that is playing on both screens now.
The second way to install Kodi is undoubtedly the simplest, but
you
cannot lock the phone, address calls or use the phone otherwise. Since the monitor of the phone has to be
on all
the time, this approach is not very battery-friendly either.
